Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Memorial Hospital is committed to providing specialised medical care to critically ill and premature newborns. We have a state-of-the-art NICU equipped with the latest incubators, ventilators, and a team of experienced neonatologists to offer the best care for your baby.

Common conditions treated in our NICU include the following:

  • Neonatal jaundice
  • Premature newborns
  • Intra-uterine growth restriction
  • Perinatal hypoxia
  • Newborns with respiratory distress
  • Hypoglycemia
Well Baby Nursery

Healthy newborns who do not need intensive care would be able to stay with their mother and will be looked after by our dedicated team of neonatologists and nurses.

Our team will support mothers in taking care of their babies, teaching them how to breastfeed and guiding them through a smooth transition to post-hospital care.

All newborns will undergo a hearing test, an eye test and metabolic disease screening before being discharged to be cared for at home by the family.
